The images are difficult to see because they are very small but I think I like 3B the best.

I like 2A because it’s a lighter color and I like the close up of the face. I like 4A as well for the same reason; it’s a close up but also because it’s not tinted. She is a very pretty girl and makes for a nice cover to look at when sitting on the shelf or table when not being read.
I love 2A. I can't quite tell but it looks almost black and white. With the name of the book "Darkened Shadows" those colors would complement the title best.
3B.The girl is very pretty but a large shot of her face does nothing to hint at what's inside the book. The longshot with the shadowy figure more prominent offers a little more mystery. The color has to be blue...blue suggests cold...fear...thrills...
4A attracted my attention more than the others. It's clear and clean. I dig it!
I'm stuck between two of them! 4A and 2A it's a hard choice! In the end I voted for 4A, not much over-kill. Sometimes, less is more. I love it!

I like all the covers, but it's the brightness and contrast of cover 3b that draws my attention. I would grab 3b out of a shelf full of books.

The thing about book covers is that it should stand out among others. I would recommend not to choose colors that are so dark. By the way...the shadow of the little kid is a bit creepy... :o
Thank you for voting. After adding up the write in votes, it looks like group 3 is the winner with 24 votes. 3B was the favorite out of that group, and happens to be my favorite in the group. So, 3B will be my cover. Thanks again to everyone for your feedback.
