EXACTLY!
Harry and Hermione would have been a power couple. the two of them together and they always will come up with a solution. Ron really isn't very smart until the dealthy hollows pt2 most of the time harry and Hermione just ended up saving Ron from one thing ot another, he was always in the way. although he is a very loyal friend to harry from the begininng and after awhile with Hermione as well

i loved luna! she was insane but in a sweet cute sort of way. i think they would have been able to relate on a...darker level then he could with ginny and on a more unbelievable level? he could tell her anything and she'd be like those damn nargles! where as ginny would be more likely to not believe him lol

While I agree with both of these statements, I am really glad Harry ended up with Ginny. But, being someone who is somewhat like Hermione in looks, personality, and brains I have to say Ron's cute and all but I like a guy with some brains.
I never felt any connection between Ginny and Harry, as a child I used to as they call it now ship Ginny with Neville and Harry with Cho. I don't agree with the reasons as to why he left Cho and I can't stand Ginny and her attitude particularly towards Dean. I would never ship Harry with Hermione, I don't see them that way and Luna I couldn't see that either so I'm stuck, but each to their own.
I will always say Luna :D I never did like Harry/Ginny
I think Harry should have ended up with a muggle. Like the girl he met in the diner in Half Blood Prince. I don't know why, but I like the idea.

Ginny was a year to young to be part of the Golden Trio, and I think that's the only reason she's not a bigger character. Ginny's so understanding - despite the fact that her boyfriend dumped her to save the world, she stayed strong, made a difference, and waited for him. He really has a brother/sister with Hermione, and while Luna is a great, loyal, hilarious friend, I can't see them as a couple - he needs someone to have a serious conversation with if he's constantly trying to save the world.
