I honestly do NOT like Ginny...She came out oddly one- dimensional. However, I think Harry would have been driven up the wall having Luna for a wife, and Hermione belongs to Ron! (Hermione-Ron believer). I think that if Ginny were a better character, she would be the best for Harry.
Either Hermione or Luna, who care for HARRY POTTER! Ginevra only cared for the "heroic" Boy-Who-Lived, nothing more.
Master of Puppets (I'm pulling your strings) wrote: "But... Ginny's like 25 in the movies, and Harry's 17. But in the books... I like Ginny in the 2nd book. But I want to be with Ginny, not Harry!"No she's not. Bonnie Wright is 2 years younger than Daniel and the character is a grade younger
Ginny, obviously. Who else?Ginevra only cared for the "heroic" Boy-Who-Lived, nothing more.
That isn't true. Ginny cared for the real Harry, it's all in the books.
I really wanted Harry and Luna to end up together. She understood him when nobody had. Sure she seemed odd, but everybody thought Harry was as well. It still makes me sad that they weren't the ones to get married and have babies togethers. Well, fanfics and fanarts can tend my wound.
Harry and Ginny just came out of nowhere to me. He just suddenly found her attractive and notice her in the sixth book. Funny enough, however, JK Rowling is now saying that she should have had Harry and Hermione together. It's not necessarily one of my favorite ships, but I don't dislike it, and I find it to have more sense than Ginny and Harry. If Harry and Hermione had married eachother instead, I don't think I would have been disappointed as I was.
Actually, Ginny is the only one to truly understand Harry, not Luna. Pity is not a basis for a real relationship and understanding. Also, Harry and Ginny didn't come out of nowhere. There are many clues pointing to the relationship in the first five books (particularly in CoS and OotP), and he did notice her before the sixth book. JKR did not say that Harry and Hermione should have ended together, that interview was taken out of context. Also, Harry and Hermione much makes less sense than Harry and Ginny.
Even though Harry and Ginny did come out of nowhere, love and attractiveness is not something we can control, it does come out of nowhere, right? Especially when you realize that the one you love has actually been beside you the whole time. Anyway, Hermione and Harry have always had a sort of brotherly love, a fraternal love, if they had ended up together, it would probably not have worked out at the end... However, there has always been a sort of positive and romantic tension between Hermione and Ron. Well, you read the book so you know what I mean. And about Harry and Luna, why not? But as far as I know, Harry always considered Luna as a weird but very friendly friend who has access to a world the others usually can't see or reach, which is why she could cheer him up sometimes. Anyway, I think I'll stick with Harry and Ginny.
I think it should have been Harry and Luna.It just makes sense. And J.K. never said she regreted making Ron and Hermione a couple,i read the whole interview and she only questioned a little if Ron and Hermione were a believable couple. At the end of the interview she said Ron and Hermione will be fine, they just might need a little guidence councaling. The only thing she said about the Harry/Hermione relationship is that she liked the scene in the movie where Harry and Hermione are in the tent and Ron's gone.
Jerry wrote: "Even though Harry and Ginny did come out of nowhere, love and attractiveness is not something we can control, it does come out of nowhere, right?"That may be true, but there are hints before HBP for their relationship. It didn't come out of nowhere.
Yes, indeed, I wanted to explain that whether Harry & Ginny came out of nowhere or not, their couple is quite logical!

You would like Rainbow Rowell book Carry On - VF.
It's funny; I started out shipping Harry/Hermione, but fell in love with Harry/Ginny in the Order of the Phoenix. I'm so glad they ended up together. They are truly soulmates. I still adore Harry and Hermione's friendship.
Harry and Luna had a cute friendship, but I could never see them as a romantic couple.
