Steven My family and I are actually getting sick of all the movies in 3D. For people that already wear glasses the 3D glasses don't always work great and we don't think the power of every film and it's story should revolve around it popping out at you. We think Disney does 3D and 4D the best and if the movie theaters aren't going to go to that extent to show the film then don't bother. Besides they charge too much for them and it seemed like just a reason to raise prices. I haven't gone to a movie in a theater since Avatar.

I hate 3-D movies. I can never focus. The glasses never fit right...it's generally awkward. Too expensive. I always feel dizzy afterwards. It's too expensive. It's generally an unpleasant experience for me.

Steven yeah pretty much the same here. Avatar was one of the best I've seen and like I said the shows they have at Disneyland and Disneyworld are usually top notch and the glasses work good. But I don't think ever movie needs to be in 3D. I definitely won't be buying a 3D TV ever.

I don't mind 3D, but like you said Steven, it pretty much depends on the movie. Given the option, I'd rather see it in 2D because 1. 3D can be distracting and 2. sometimes you can hardly tell. Like I just saw Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D and other than a semi-sharper image you couldn't tell. However it really irks me when movies will put in like a ping pong scene or something like that just to show off the 3D effects.

I recently refused to see Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3-D coincidence!

Steven yeah I will probably wait to see Kung Fu Panda when it comes to DVD but we are talking about going to see Cars 2 since the first one was one of my son's favs.

Crystal the only movie i have ever seen in 3D was Avatar. and i must say, it looked great :D that was a movie that you kinda HAD to see in 3D or imax or whatever just because it was so epic and beautiful. i think if youre going to go see kung fu panda 2 in 3D, youre wasting your money, this is just my opinion. i think it definitely depends on the movie because it is more expensive and a little overrated.
