i haven't actually read any of these 😭😭 (fomo is real as you say) but i have a copy of alice in wonderland and its not a romance story, its actually pretty good as far as i skimmed it

Pride and Prejudice is clean.

I loveee most of them. anne of green gables and the secret garden are meant for children, but still very charming reads. Little Women is a nice one too.

and girlll these covers are gorgeous, especially the anne of green gables one. please buy it😭💗

i don't mind them being kids' books as long as they aren't completely childish if that makes sense 😭 i want these to be my comfort reads to come back to over and over again. thank you for your recs ❤️❤️

To check if the book is clean or not, I go to its gr page and then search for 'clean' or 'spice' and then further search in the webpage's search box, the reviews usually confirm about the content :)

All of these books have stunning covers (😭💗) so it's difficult to choose from but my top 3 books would be:
The secret garden: I read this many years ago for school and I enjoyed it sm! It is a children's book so it doesn't have any explicit content.
Little Women: I haven't read this one but I feel like almost everyone loves this book.
Pride and prejudice: I'm reading this currently and I am really loving this one too.

I don’t think I read any of these either 😭
But I chose the ones that are the prettiest to me hehe 🤭

Read pride and prejudice, please, it is so very good and entirely without smut (it's written in the ninteenth century) and it is actually one reson to why I liked it so much, it focuses on the feelings, the actual ROMANCE of the romance, as opposed to some modern books.

My other two are:
- Anne of Green Gables. I am reading it right now and it is so very beautiful, the story, the language, the setting, the characters, all of it. (and it isn't a romance, yet, at least. I believe some romantic elements might be introduced in later books of the series but idk).

- Alice in Wonderland. The cover was very pretty and I think it's one of those stories that you just want to have in a pretty cover. (I haven't read it, sadly, but I have heard only good things about it).

I have read all of these except Wurthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Alice in Wonderland and The Secret Garden. I think you should get Little Women. All the covers are gorgeous, I hope you end up buying all of them loool. If you end up getting Alice in Wonderland or The Secret Garden, let me know so we can buddy read.
