For fantasy I like Melanie Cellier, Deborah Grace White, Sarah Beran, Robyn Sarty, and Brittany Fitcher! Historical Fiction, Janette Oke, Jen Turano, and Tracie Petersen! Contemporary, Erynn Mangum, Amanda Dykes, Marie Soleil, and Janice Thompson! Suspense, Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Blackburn, and Lisa Harris! Also Bo Wagner has a great series called The Night Heroes, it’s great especially for teens.
Roadside Assistance by Amy Clipston, What Light, Heartless. I don't really read many Romance books. :/
These two standalone books by Amanda Dykes are general historical fiction with some sweet romance:•Whose Waves These Are
•Yours is the Night
And if you like YA fantasy/romance, I would recommend:
•The Dreamworld Chronicles
by Camille Peters
She hasn't released the fourth and final book yet, but she's planning on releasing it later this year if I'm not mistaken. (And let me just say, those covers are gorgeous! I totally judged these books by their covers, and was not disappointed one bit! 😄
I will always recommend all of Ann Liang's books - I especially liked If You Could See the Sun, I Hope This Doesn't Find You, and Never Thought I'd End Up HereI noticed you've read the first 2 of The Wide Awake Princess from ED Baker (idek if there's more, but yk), and would like to say The Frog Princess is 1000000x better
also yes, I'm stalking ur read shelf for a hot sec
The first 2 books of the Love and Gelato series r sooo worth it, the second one is kinda less romance, but it was rly inspiring for me, the trilogy is by Jenna Evans Welch
I've heard most of Kasie West's books r clean, but idk, I can't vouch for them yet
The Selection series was rly cute, I loved the first 3 books, the last 3 follow their daughter, and it wasn't quite the same, but still rly good (btw, the frog princess is the same, the last few books follow Milly)
The Encanto's Daughter was SO GOOD
it's less romance-y until like midway, but even as js a fantasy read, it pulls you in - I haven't read the 2nd book yet tho, bc I haven't been able to find it in a library, and Libby doesn't have it
Once Upon a Broken Heart will always have a special place in my heart (Jacks 🤭🤭) u don't have to read Caraval first, ik some ppl don't want to, and go straight to OUBH, but if you do want to, it's best to read it before OUBH, bc if u go back and read it aftre, I feel like it's not going to have as much flavor - I also recommend Caraval! I js rly liked OUBH more and wanted to say that first
also, My Lady Jane isn't revolving around romance, that's mostly js the subplot, but Gifford and Jane are so sweet (my calamity jane was also rly good, I can't remember if it had romance in it or not tho - ik abt my plain jane, haven't read it)
THE HIGH COURT OF THE COFFEE BEAN SERIES (byJennifer Kropf) IS THE BEST AND NOBODY CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE!!!!!!!!! IT'S SO GOOD
CRESS
MOR
DRANIAN
SHAYNE
LUC
THEY'RE SO FUNNY AND THEY ACT LIKE LITTLE KINDS WHEN THEY'RE IN THE HUMAN REALM AND IT'S ADORABLE!!
the 3rd book is kinda no romance, but it was I think my favorite bc of Dranian and Luc having to learn to become friends, and I loved them for it
Ella Enchanted doesn't rly need an intro, it's so sweetttttt (it's one of my comfort books) Cinderella retelling btw
I'm sure I could harass you with many many more, but I'llleave it at this for rn <333
