Gosh this is stiff competition, but I've read ALL of Stuart Turton's novels & this is the best one by far.

The tattooist of Auschwitz is an amazing book. The sequel to it Cilka’s journey is also very good. I am a history buff (especially WWII) so I will recommend this era every time. Enjoy your read.
Yes! Everyone says it is so good. I have both and also the third one she wrote called Three Sisters. Have you read that one too?I also love history which is why so many of these polls have history and historical fiction but I’m hoping I don’t get too many WWII books for my list next year because it is hard to read about how awful humans can be to each other especially in wartime.
