I’ve read shatter me and mistborn and love both🥹. shatter me will always have a special place in my heart but the writing isn’t for everyone. Mistborn has my heart too, if you haven’t read many high/epic fantasy books then it’s a good one to start with like I did. The magic system is very technical which I was obsessed with but isn’t everyone’s thing! But also selfishly I kinda want you to read the other two so I can see your thoughts because I’ve been desperate to read them 👀😌

Have you considered The Bone Season series by Samantha Shannon, the Book of the Ancestor series by Mark Lawrence, Garth Nix's Sabriel series?

All three are very easy to get obsessed with.

shatter me for something quick and easy to bingeread for a guilty pleasure type read (with incredible romance), but throne of glass to read for amazing word building that you will be connected to for the rest of your life, characters to be obsessed with, and to cry so many times (with amazing romance, but we go through a lot of mmc’s, more fantasy based)

shatter me is a fun series but mistborn is rly good also! haven’t read the others but i heard red rising is rly good too and it’s def on my list of books to read :))
