So, I voted for Shadow and Bone, but Harry Potter is another great option. :) As for other suggestions:

A Study in Drowning (I cant remember what time of year it's set, but it's got dark academia and dark fairytale vibes)

Six of Crows (The second book in the duology seems more fall-like imo, and you should prob wait until after you read Shadow and Bone, but thought I'd mention it)

Divine Rivals (Idk why exactly, but this one just seems right)

The Book Thief (idk if you like historical fiction, but if so and you haven't read this one yet, you should give it a try)
