I've read A Brief History of Intelligence: Evolution, AI, and the Five Breakthroughs That Made Our Brains and it was very good. I tried to nominate it a while ago but it was too new to meet the ratings requirement. I had planned to renominate but looks like someone beat me to it! :-) I highly recommend it and hope it becomes the August read. Curious to hear what others think of it.

I saved the 'A Brief History of Intelligence' book when you nominated it and I couldn't not nominate it, to me it looks very interesting!I agree with David, all of the nominations are great! I wouldn't mind any of them getting chosen for August.
I came here to see what book I will be reading in August and it's a 4 way tie!
