This topic is not for me. As a Ukrainian, I cannot stomach anything with russian culture or history right now. While they are bombing my hometown, I am not giving their murderous regime any attention or time.

Dear Tatyana, I fully understand your feelings, but the book is not about modern Russia, but about the Soviet Union or USSR, which was another country, which don't exist anymore.

I would read it if it were on kindle unlimited. I have read a different big epic that was set in Russia. You don't seem to have a kindle version.
