January is Yours, Mine and Ours Month-Read a book with a pronoun in the title, excluding forms of "it": I, we, you, he, she, they, me, him, her, us, them, myself, yourself, himself, herself, ourselves, themselves, mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs.
To celebrate the Chinese New Year (January 22), read any book where the first letters of the title words (including subtitle) make one of the words in the Chinese Zodiac: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, or Pig
To celebrate Red Apple Day (December 1), read any book with a fruit in the title or subtitle.
February 6th-Monopoly Board Game Goes on Sale-Read a book with the name of one of the original tokens in the title (dog, hat, car, boot/shoe, iron, thimble). Plurals are acceptable, but no other variations will work.
