April 2022 BOTM nominations
Hello OBNR community!
I would like our theme for April 2022 to be about provincial affairs. Like many of our members, I grew up in a small town but live in a larger city now. Often, I miss the quaint lifestyle, as well as the occasional neighborhood bickering one is bound to hear in that environment. These kinds of places are goldmines for eccentric characters and make for interesting narratives. A good example of this is Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel, Cranford and most of Anthony Trollope’s output.
We have some great choices here! Let's make it count. I'm looking forward to an engaging discussion, and most of all, a memorable pre-summer read.
