Help me choose my next fall read.

Hi everyone, sorry to bother, but I just wanted to share something. I used to defend GRs whenever people said it was full of mean people because I truly believed it was a kind and loving community. But recently, I’ve come across some really unkind, bully-like people, and for a while it even made me not want to use GRs anymore. Then I thought—why should I let such people push me away from a place I enjoy?

So instead of deleting my account, I’ve decided to shorten my friend list and keep my circle small. If I end up removing you, please don’t take it personally—it’s nothing against you. I’m just struggling with trust right now. To my genuine friends, please know that I truly appreciate you and the kindness you’ve shown me—you’re the reason I’m still here. And of course, you’re free to unfriend me if you’d like. Thank you so much for understanding.

I want to read six of crows, but I've heard you should read the shadow and bone trilogy first. I read the first book, shadow and bone, and dnf'd the second one. Do you guys recommend I read the whole trilogy first and then move on to the duology or can I just pick up six of crows?
