Erewhon has been mentioned several times in the current book I'm reading Human Compatible: Artificial Intelligence and the Problem of Control. Apparently Alan Turning referenced it in a 1950 paper on AI too, so I'm voting for it, although I like several of the others as well.

All these choices sound interesting in one way or another.
I've read Erewhon Revisited, but not Erewhon itself. Not very enthusiastic about it because he isn't a great writer.
Likewise, Bulwer-Lytton has such a bad reputation as a writer that there is a dishonarable writing prize named after him. Nonetheless, the "Vril" in that story was influential.
