I just finished Where the Crawdads Sing and LOVED it! It took me a while to get into it but by the time I was about 1/3 of the way in I could hardly put it down.

I read Where the Crawdads Sing recently as well, and had a similar experience, slow start but became very engaged by it. The voice of the main character and her world were lyrical, and I loved reading it before I fell asleep. A lovely, lovely book and a recent favorite.

Just finished Where the Crawdads Sing and I am one of the few, it seems, who didn't love it. A very slow book, I agree with Kim that you do get engaged in it, but it just seemed so lackluster for me, overall! The writing style is lovely though!:)

I have read Where the Crawdads Sing
and absolutely loved it, it was my favorite read of 2018.
