Exactly! And I wouldn't like to confuse my thinking with a load of codswallop. In fact, even a layman's introduction might be interesting to read.

'Codswallop'... hmm... not sure that's an internationally understood term, but I like it so it's staying...

There are plenty of fiction books which feature hypnosis in some way. In some it features in a minor way and in other's it is the main emphasis of the story. What instantly comes to mind is False Memory, The Manchurian Candidate, The Hypnotist's Love Story and The Hypnotist. When I initially nominated the theme I was thinking more about fiction books rather than non-fiction but people can nominate those should they wish or pick one for the books in the theme if it did win. There are tonnes of non-fiction books on hypnosis, some good and some that are pretty awful. And sure, I'd be happy to give pointers on books.

Same! I voted for circus/carnival because I nominated it, but I like all the other themes too.
