That make sense, but that would be waste of money. Moreover, I have only read first book of Harry Potter. Most of the time I take book for library, this time only I want to buy few, because their aren't published in my country :)

Zineb A My native language is arabic, french is my second language and english is my third language.I recommand you start reading contemporary books because they are very easy and faste pace.
This being said, "shatter me" was one of the very first books I read in english and it wasn't difficult.

message 6: by Harker (new)

Harker I think The Raven Boys would be easier because the others are kind of futuristic and/or have technological speak that might be harder for a non-English speaker.

message 7: by Aishah (new)

Aishah My native language is not English and i would advise something much more simple than The Raven Boys which is the only book of the three that i have read.. The Raven Boys has some very confusing ideas and terms and since you are reading for the first time try something simple.. That being said, i also have no idea how much is your grasp on English, so maybe try something like Twilight perhaps since i have never read Harry Porter..
