Look, I say this as a Sanderson fan - can't we please choose someone else? Everyone who's going to read Shadows Of Self is reading it already. I'd rather read something by an author who isn't an ultra-mega-bestseller already...

All we can do is provide a platform for users to pick the book - I can go back to just picking them, but that takes the spirit out of the thing. If we turn this into a "pick what you want, unless it's a mainstream author" then we limit the group. Remember, the group is over 2000 people, from various interest levels and reading interests. While you or I may want something different, the general group doesn't always.

That said, I highly encourage people to vote for The Fifth Season :)

Great choices this month, but an easy vote for me, I discovered To Ride Hell's Chasm by chance here on GR and it surprised me. Now it is my favorite epic fantasy standalone ever.
