I was looking for a wide variety of BIG books. Might be trouble, though - so far 5 votes and 5 different books! ;)
I am considering removing the one vote and less books from this list and letting those who voted for those change their votes to one of the 2+ vote books. Before you get upset about this, I am on of the people who would have to change their votes! It just seems like it makes sense to reduce this list - using the first week as a "round one" if you will.
Let me know if this sounds okay and I will seed a message to those who need to change their votes (if they don't see this message here). If you think that is a bad idea, let me know too. I am fine just leaving it the way it is.

I mentioned this previously, but if anyone has voted on one of the books not getting many votes, you are welcome to change your vote and throw support toward one of the books battling it out at the top.
Or, you can stick to your guns - up to you!

This is true - and I thought about this . . . but I want to make sure they all know they need to vote again. And, I kinda feel guilty about deleting what people voted for if they REALLY don't want to change their votes. (just my paranoia - I don't want to chase any one from the group i.e. "Golly gee, he asks me to vote and then he deletes my vote - what a jerk!" ;) )

I am not sure - I switched my vote to the Stand because I only ever read the abridged version. Perhaps everyone in the bottom 6 would switch their vote to The Stand??? ;)
My thought also is - if it remains this close . . . one title will be our big read now, and the other will be our next big read starting in January. You know . . . try and make the masses happy! Maybe I will run for president!

We could also have a steel cage death match and I will dress like Ceasar as though it is a gladiator battle!

Not sure how the moderator did it in another group, but I once got a personal message about a vote-off in another group. I wouldn't recommend this if it's time-consuming. (Time should be spent reading.) But maybe there's any easy way to let just those who voted know.
Appreciate your conscientiousness, Matt.
