I think it will eventually make it into the moving media and, in that case, I'd like to see it as an ongoing TV series.

A film treatment would look spectacular, but likely be action-orientated and 'dumbed-down' for a mass audience. A TV mini-series would be good, but likely not cover as much of the material as I would like. An ongoing series would have the space to develop the themes and characters of the book.

Of course, it could just as easily be awful and would possibly be best left alone, but somebody would make a lot of money from it, so I think it's only a matter of time.
