Mary Beth I'm super new to this group, and silent so far. I'm so happy to find kindred spirits here. I chose Ruth, but I'll go along with whatever the group chooses. Never read Ruth though, and I'm thankful for the reference

Welcome Mary, glad to have you! Looking forward to discussing whichever book wins with you. I haven't read Ruth either, it's on my TBR list though!

Emily Hi. I'm sorry for not being more involved, but that's because I'm a full-time English student. Ethan Frome was an interesting book. I wouldn't mind reading that again. For Daniel Deronda, I've seen the movie, but never read the book. I would love to read it, but I don't have the money to buy it (I only buy my literature books). However, I have Northanger Abbey, and I'm willing to read that since I never have before. I will not be able to lead any discussions, since time does not allow me to do so. That's just my input. Thanks for reading this. ~Emi.

Oh, we have one of the biggest in the Nation, and I work there! But you see, you can't write in Library books....and I like to write in my books. It's an English Major habit. ;)

LG I just tipped the scale in favor of Northanger Abbey because I haven’t read Eliot at all, so I didn’t want to start with her last book :)
