Oh, wait. Dawn is the first book in the Lillith's Brood series? I have read all these. Although I lemmed Parable of the Sower because the world was just too grim.

Fledgling and Dawn sound the best to me. I've never read her so it will be interesting to see which gets the vote
I've read Dawn and Kindred, and while I think it was good and necessary that I read Kindred, I was so torn up by the end of it that there is no way I could convince myself to read it again.Besides that time travel novels aren't my favorite.
I am so happy that S&L is reading Octavia Butler! Her work is so quintessential to Science Fiction literature
I gained a lot of respect for Butler's writings with the first book of hers I ever read: Dawn. Truly innovative plot and incredible characters!
I've never read any of her work but reviews seem to be fanboy/girlishly high or really low. Not a lot of middling reviews that I've seen. The only one of these that sounds worth reading is Dawn, IMO. If else is picked, I've got a pile of alt picks to work through.
I've never read her before. I like this style of poll. Combines what I like about S*L - 0pen me up to new authors, but now I can't choose which one which is a nice problem to have. Also like that you've blocked the poll results from being viewable.
I voted for Dawn, simply because I'm reading it right now (it was the next book in my ever growing pile of books to read).
