Yes, it’s me—the person who ghosted goodreads after reading a book so catastrophically bad that it made me hate reading altogether and question the entire concept of storytelling. Honestly, it wasn’t just that one disaster—it was a whole parade of trash I’d been suffering through, and this last one? The cherry-on-top-of-a-carcass kind of nightmare.

But fear not! I have returned, slightly traumatized but armed with a brand-new Diwali book haul. Whether I’ll actually read them this year is another story, lol.

Anyway, I digress. Sorry for not replying to messages and stuff. I just logged in, and some of you are honestly so sweet for dropping by just to check on me. I’ll reply to everyone soon, but for now, I just want to say I really appreciate you all, you gorgeous people, so much! 💐

So… what’s the tea, people? Did anyone accidentally stumble upon a literal masterpiece while I was gone, or are we all just dragging ourselves through the swamp of mediocre stories? ok so normally I don't make these kinds of polls but I just read such an amazing book and wrote a review. this book is truly special to me bc not only was it absolutely incredible, it's written by a first-time author, and she is literally one of the sweetest, smartest, most intelligent people ever, and an awesome writer to boot.

the book is "every town's insolent woman" and it's literal perfection

I'm not asking you to look at my review so I can get more interaction of wtv, I'm just asking you guys to show support for this astoundingly good author and all of her hard work! <3

I know not everyone has kindle unlimited or is able to buy it, but if you can, YOU SHOULD!!! DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR BC IT'S A MASTERPIECE!! and it takes a lot to impress my bookwise i'm kinda a hater ngl
