Publishing/Writing Opportunity For Christian, Conservative Young Adults!

Hi everyone! I have some exciting news! But, of course, there's a bit of a backstory. (:

In September of 2025, we all watched as Charlie Kirk lost his life on a college campus in Utah. It doesn't matter which side of politics you're on, it's still devastating that someone's heartbeat was ended in front of hundreds of young college students.

Now, I'm not looking to get political, I simply want to share a cause that's dear to me!

After that happened, I was discouraged and looking for a way to spread Charlie's message with my God-given gift: writing. Lucky for me, I found a group of three other young writers who wanted the same thing. Together, over the past few months, we have been working hard on creating an anthology of stories to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. We are called Flame of Faith Publishing (and you can find us on Substack at https://flameoffaith.substack.com/).

With this anthology, we don't want to talk about politics. Rather, we want to come together and share our favorite things about Charlie, and honor his life and the amazing things that he did with it.

So, with all of that being said, if you are a young writer who is looking to take your writing to higher purposes, this may be a great opportunity for you! We would love to hear from you and read your work. You can submit your work by the submission deadline, May 15th. i’d like to start off by saying i’m on april break this week and i’ll be inactive due to traveling! (ik ik, “but you’re always inactive!” 😔🤧 guys trust im coming back ive just been busy 😭 (+ i need to review all my may arcs…be prepared for my first lynn painter review 😛)

aannnnd i also wanted to say that i started a new writing wip! i have commitment issues when it comes to my writing but i’m liking this one and i need you all the hold me accountable so i actually write it for once lmao (actually tho my pile of abandoned wips is lowk taller than me) the story idea is basically a retelling of the vietnamese version of cinderella (anyone know the story of tam and cam?) in a fantasy world with water dragon gods and wish granting lantern festivals…thoughts on my wip would be appreciated! does it sound interesting or something you would like to read?

Hey, my Christian peeps! I’ve been feeling like I should be consuming more Christian fiction instead of just secular fiction, but my problem is that a lot of Christian fiction is kinda cheesy and fluffy, and if you know me, I’m not too fond of cheesy and fluffy. Also, like, 90% of Christian fiction is just romance, and that’s not my fave genre

Do any of y’all have any Christian fiction recs or Christian authors that aren’t super cheesy that are maybe thriller, fantasy, dystopian? Or even Christian classics?

As someone who always reads digital books on my pc, I feel like it's hurting my eyes so much (which are super sensitive already). So I wanna try an e-reader but am overwhelmed by the amount of options there are available out there.

I don't have very specific preferences, except that I want it to be really budget-friendly (they are so much more expensive than I thought they would be😭) but I don't want it to be super small either. It would also be nice with warm light option, but not necessary.

anyway here’s my little blurb of a plot, but do you think it sounds good? would you read it?

…….there have been two secret societies fighting each other since the dawn of time. the two societies reflect light and dark, good and evil. and they recruit people with powers that are deemed good or evil. anyway this huge fight happened about six months prior to the beginning which ended supppper badly for both sides. everyone was affected and there are roatating povs were we see each character and what they want to gain…

I have more ideas but I don’t want them to get stolen :) but it would basically be dark academia, superhero ish, antihero’s, chosen ones, misunderstood villains, magic, romantic subplot,
