poll: How do you keep track of your current place in a book?

see that "use a bookmark" is in the list, but I use a "SPECIAL" bookmark that wasn't exclusively mentioned, so I vote for that one. But wait, when I'm reading more than one book at a time or, heaven forbid, more than three (some ebooks) I use a lock of hair given to me by my first lover to remember the ebook place, a leaf found at the peak of Mt. Everest for my second paper book, my librarian's birth certificate for my third paper book and a glowing ember to mark my place in the montly magazine I receive.
