impossible to put down My first book from this author and I just read it in one sitting. Loved it. Very twisty and a bit darker than Freida McFadden but has a similar fast pace. Entertaining and unexpected with a great, satisfying ending. |

Thank you to all of my new friends! I am sorry for not responding sooner, haven't been here in a bit, and it's all so new to me, still learning my way around. I do have a new author to rave about though. I downloaded Sentence of Marriage because I'd seen a post of the author's on Kindleboards and wanted to check out her books. I was floored by how much I loved her writing. This is the first in a series of four books and I think I read them all in a 5 day period....there were a few sleep deprived nights as they kept me up long past my bedtime...like 1:30 which is crazy on a work night. I just couldn't stop reading. It's so rare that I feel that way about an author. I just downloaded a follow up book Daisy's War by the same author and am looking foward to curling up in this cold weather tonight to enjoy! Highly recommend. These books are historicals and a family saga set in late 1800's New Zealand. I didn't expect them to be such page-turners. They are very well-written. This author is now on my auto-buy list...I read a lot of books, but my auto-buy list is shorter than I'd like it to be. :)
