I never understood the hardships of dealing with something like this, how people treat you, ability to do different things, we don’t do enough for deaf people , in my mind I’d see all the help a person may need, medical, surgical, hearing aids, counseling even and maybe just talking to others in one way or another.
We can send millions of $$ overseas, but we can’t fix this?
