He didn’t have cancer. That’s not to say he didn’t have something in his head which shouldn’t have been there but, it wasn’t cancer.

‘There is nothing wrong with you! Stop it!’ But there was something wrong with him. Just because others couldn’t see it, it didn’t mean it wasn’t there. It was most definitely there, buried deep in his brain and - daily - whispering to him, constantly. His cancer.

The head-stranger’s words were never kind though. The thoughts pushed were mostly always dark and overly aggressive.
