“The scouts have come back and said the witches ride to Yregar for you.” Her brows inch up her forehead, and she tilts her head consideringly. “My crime is breaking the curse and thwarting your enemy?
9/18/24 He’s just as bad as his uncle actually, spinning the truth of things to sway the court in his favor. But to what end? His fate is tied to hers! She what does he really get out of this…
Do the witches of the Ravenswyrd still walk there, are they the ones who taunt us if we dare to enter? Do they know that you repaid their deaths with loyalty to Kharl and his armies, or did you find out your fate and take it straight to him to be crafted into a weapon against us?”
but Corym holds his command, staring at the horde with a critical eye as he waits for them to make the first move and show their hand. He’s a good commander with the patience to draw them out, form the best plan, and protect our home and our people from the evil that’s come calling.

These skills are so intrinsic to me now that I slip back into my soldier form, swinging and cleaving the witches apart, the magic in my scepter magnifying every blow as I fight them off two-handed and leave devastation in my wake.
9/18/24 I wonder what Tauron has to say about this now… Still think you can take her? She’s taking on 1,000 witches… BY HER SELF.
Reed’s eyes narrow as he watches the witch walk through the village, ensuring none of the enemy have been missed in her efforts, and when he speaks, it's with a carefully neutral tone. “Maybe you should start making your peace with her by calling her by her name. Perhaps then she won’t keep her word and force you to beg her to marry you.”
She lifts her scepter again, only this time, we all feel the magic in our bones as she closes the door and pushes the magic back into the earth, the flames snuffing out as though they were never there in the first place.
