Spell Bound

I took down the cheater’s information in my handy-dandy non-emergent probably-just-a-jerk form. It really wasn’t called that, but I was surprised at how many of Antonia’s calls were people who had done something wrong and were now worried that the consequences of those decisions were magical in some way, a jinx, hex, or a curse, when in reality they were just normal consequences. Like, oh no, I’m being held accountable for my questionable actions.

After a moment, his fingers curled in on themselves and his bright smile dimmed. And oh. Oh. I should’ve taken his hand.
