But Twitter is real life; it’s realer than real life,

Such is the nature of a Twitter dustup. Allegations get flung left and right, everyone’s reputations are torn down, and when the dust clears, everything remains exactly as it was.

Not every girl has a rape story. But almost every girl has an “I’m not sure, I didn’t like it, but I can’t quite call it rape” story.

The truth is fluid. There is always another way to spin the story, another wrench to throw into the narrative.
