never felt the connection we have with anyone else. Even when we were just friends, the bond we shared was deep. We’re on our own wavelength. I didn’t believe in soul mates until her soul whispered to mine.
“The moon and all the stars in the sky could never rival your beauty, Sunshine.”
Even though we were just friends at first, he’s always loved me as I am and encourages me to never dim my light. I fall madly in love with him every day.
“Ace, I found a home in you. Wherever we are, as long as I’m with you, I will always be home. I promise you’ll always know love because I’ve loved you across lifetimes and will fiercely love you in this one and beyond.”
“Sunshine, there aren’t enough words in any language to express how much I love you. It’s indescribable, but I can make sure you feel it. With everything that I am, I promise to show you every day for the rest of my days how much I love you. You’re the heartbeat in my chest and the blood in my veins.”
grips my hips and guides me to move up his body until I’m hovering over his face. “You know what to do, Sunshine.” He smacks my ass, and I moan. “Sit like a good girl.”
know, and that’s okay. But when you feel you’re doing something for the good of someone else, be sure to ask yourself if it’s for the good of you, too.”
I was dreading the reception until I realized I get to be with the most gorgeous woman to walk this earth. I may be a little bias, but she’s as close to heaven as I can get without dying. Everything about her is graceful from the way she walks, talks, and even how she snorts when she laughs. She makes everything near her glow a little brighter.
I’ve danced with her countless times tonight, but it’s hard to say no to the twins. Yeah, I’m pretty much fucked when Harlow and I have kids. They’ll want for nothing, and I can’t wait to give them everything.
“Acyn…” she says after a few minutes of listening to the waves. “Yeah, Sunshine?” “You make me so fucking happy. I just needed you to know that.” I kiss the top of her head. “You’ve been lighting up my world since I met you with that brilliant smile and shitty cup of coffee.”
“Fuck you.” She laughs. “What if someone else told me I made shitty cups of coffee?” “They would be forced to apologize and then suffer from burns because of the coffee I’d throw at them.” “But it’s okay for you?” She snorts with laughter. “Yes.” I shrug. “Always has been. Always will be.” “You know… you’re a jerk. But you’re my jerk.”
When she pulls away, I pull her back to me and bring her lips to mine. This woman, wrapped up in my arms, has given me everything she possibly could. Her time, friendship, trust, love, soul, mind, heart… every single thing she’s willingly entrusted to me. I pick her up and she wraps her legs around me. My lips don’t leave hers as I take her to the room. I need to feel her on me in every way. We’re tangled as we crash onto the bed.
Our happy ending isn’t really an ending, it’s only the beginning of forever.
