I’ve never felt the connection we have with anyone else. Even when we were just friends, the bond we shared was deep. We’re on our own wavelength. I didn’t believe in soul mates until her soul whispered to mine.
She is a vision. I’m choked up as I try to catch my breath watching her walk towards me. Her dress looks as though it’s made for her the way it hugs her breasts and waist before cascading down the rest of her body. She has a crown of flowers sitting atop her light brown curls that are flowing down her back.
“Sunshine, you look divine. You are breathtakingly gorgeous. I should know because I still can’t fucking breathe.”
“Ace, I found a home in you. Wherever we are, as long as I’m with you, I will always be home. I promise you’ll always know love because I’ve loved you across lifetimes and will fiercely love you in this one and beyond.”
“Sunshine, there aren’t enough words in any language to express how much I love you. It’s indescribable, but I can make sure you feel it. With everything that I am, I promise to show you every day for the rest of my days how much I love you. You’re the heartbeat in my chest and the blood in my veins.”
“With this ring, I give you my heart, love, friendship, and devotion for the rest of my days. I am yours forever and always.”
“You’re my big brother, and I love to see you happy.”
One thing I know for sure is that other people’s opinions of what you and Harlow do or don’t do–don’t matter. If you worry about that, it will inevitably create problems in your relationship. What matters is that you confide in one another because, at the end of the day, it’s about you two creating a life together. Remember, you’re committed to each other–not everyone else.”
But she… she’s my heart. I know I may sound harsh right now, but I want you to know I won’t tolerate you, or anyone else, ever questioning what we have.”
Our happy ending isn’t really an ending, it’s only the beginning of forever.
