The camera whirred away, the small polaroid spitting out a cloudy film after a few seconds. I took it and waved it in the air to help it dry quicker.

Alone with this heaving beast, I stared as it turned, shocked when the moon fell upon its face. It was a man. But… surely not? Yet he had a human face, sans fur, and I realized that the fur on its back was just that; a skinned pelt that he wore to keep warm. But the longer I stared at him, despite how human he actually looked, I quickly picked out the differences between him and me. He was enormous; they all were, standing over seven feet tall. He was bulging with muscles, without a trace of fat on his body.
