Rull made a final, resounding whoop that had me covering my ears as it reverberated in the enclosed space, and then ran for the ledge that led down, and outside. Woke, Grar, the mean guy who hated my guts, and Rowe followed, though my friend did cast me one last backward glance before he threw himself down after the rest. The only male remaining was the elderly-looking one, who then wandered over to Haara and gave her a comforting, sweet little headbutt. I noticed that everyone here, not just him, seemed to have the most tenderness with her. Though he gave the other two females a small headbutt as well, it was always Haara that I noted the group went to first and lingered by. I thought he would ignore me, but when he finished checking with the other women, I was surprised when he came my way and gave me a very gentle little nuzzle, too, before moving to the ledge that led to the passage out, sitting there like he was standing guard.
