“Not much you can do after Death comes to a party,” he told me.
It would be magical if we could accept loss and move on in the next minute, but grief must fall on one of us, and I’d rather take it than hand it to her.
She is also so thankful that we’ve been able to grow old and older together, determined to soak up every bit of joy, mayhem, and love in every day we have left.
