Trailed: One Woman's Quest to Solve the Shenandoah Murders

In 2021, the average national turnaround time for a single lab result hovered between 150 and 180 days. Meanwhile, the FBI lab receives hundreds of thousands of requests for testing from agents each year, a volume of requests they cannot possibly fill, and which has only exacerbated already serious delays.

I’ve enthusiastically given myself over to the voyeuristic fascination of the true crime industry:
