“How am I still here?” or “How did I get here again?”
Your first purpose is to heal.
It’s also the hardest place to start.
There is not one person who does not need healing, because there is not one person who does not need to be awakened from their unconsciousness and into all life might offer.
You will know that the anger, the sadness, and the anxiety are a veil, a trigger trying to wake you up, not knock you out.
You will need to cry.
You were never lost. You were only hidden.
stop giving your love to those who aren’t ready to love you.
That’s not love. That’s attachment.
Just for today, let yourself feel how you feel.
Close this book for a moment. Take one second just to breathe and look around.
Nourish the garden around your soul.
What it does not know is that there is no greater failure than a life unlived. There is no greater pain than having your heart go unloved, your soul go unseen.
This is because we often don’t think to change our lives until change is the only option we have.
It’s only a matter of when we accept this truth.
All of these emotions are extremely valid.
You begin processing old emotions and memories.
This did not create these fears and feelings, it revealed them.
right about when you feel like giving up for good, you will probably get a peek at the light at the end of the tunnel.
All you have to do is keep stepping forward.
This part of the process is vital because it’s the scariest, and also the most important.
This has existed within you all along. It’s been waiting for you this entire time.
You see the purpose in the pain.
Destiny cannot be denied.
You just needed a nudge.
Growth is hard.
Growth is a required assignment.
You have become comfortable being uncomfortable.
It requires you to first admit that you might not know what you want.
It’s hard to let go, but it’s harder not to.
as though you are returning home to a place you forgot existed.
Sometimes, you won’t believe in it at all. That’s okay.
We do not lose love when we lack passion, we lose it when we lack any further potential for growth.
What we are looking for is not a way to convince ourselves that our bubble of serenity is all that exists, but to create our own personal safe haven as a constant reminder that it is possible to make a beautiful way within this world, it is possible to return home to yourself.
It is their undeniable presence that will ultimately put your heart at ease.
Letting go is not an event, it is a practice.
We have to learn to let go of thoughts, of moments.
Letting go is as effortless as an exhale. You do it all the time.
We aren’t really letting go. We are just accepting what’s already gone. What we are actually releasing is just an idea.
overwhelmed with doubt,
You need to look around. Not at the greats, not at your idols. Comparing yourself to them will only ever make you feel small and unworthy. Instead of measuring yourself by this standard, consider their successes proof of what’s possible, and then look beside you. Watch your peers. See what those around you are doing.
People want to support you. They want to learn from you. They want to grow with you. You are part of this ecosystem, you already fit in.
Showing up is what makes your work worthwhile.
You do not need a huge audience. You do not need a lot of people to believe in your ability.
People want to hear stories that sound like their own.
You will have to test and try to change things.
Keep
Because for all of the unknowns, for all of the vulnerability, for all of the days you spend staring at the path and not knowing what could be ahead, what nobody tells you is that it’s worth it. Every
You’re
If you screw it up, you screw it up.
