The dress was entirely see-through. Not quite lace, but sheer? She didn’t wear a bra, that was clear, and her back muscles moved under the neon bar lights. Fuck. The same magnetic pull took hold of me, the one where I forgot everything besides her, and I gently yanked her back outside by her wrist. “What—” I crushed my mouth against hers, pulling her tight against my chest and wrapping my arm around the back of her waist. She tasted like mint and coffee, and she nipped my bottom lip as I grazed her spine with my other hand.
“I’m gonna need to taste you tonight, Cami. All of you.” She gulped and nodded as a bright red blush painted her cheeks. “I-I’d like that.”
My boyfriend had lied to me. He’d gotten into a program in town and said he didn’t. He chose to go to Chicago instead of staying here. All without telling me. All with lying to me.
“You should’ve, yes. It’s a big decision, and while I agree it’s yours to make alone, if she’s your partner, she deserves to be a part of the conversation.”

She let out a little holler as everyone faced us. Daniella set the stereo up and introduced us, but I kept my eyes on Freddie. He stared back at me with a goofy grin and bright red cheeks.
