Of the sim blockers for humanlike sims we’ve considered, I’d add at least Intelligent sims are impossible, Conscious sims are impossible, Sims take too much computer power, Simulators will avoid creating conscious sims, and More nonsims than sims will be created. Instead of Bostrom’s three-way conclusion, these five extra sim blockers would give us an eight-way conclusion.
