Don’t be colorblind. What is the joy in choosing to miss out on all of the beauty that comes with the richness of color and hue and diversity that God created to purposely exist in this Earth? The notion that some feel it a good thing to be colorblind is in error. What’s wrong with difference?

This is the beauty of connection. We all have the potential for synergies in our areas of sameness. We all have the potential for complementary partnerships in our areas of difference. We need both. Let me be different. Let me be great. For those of you who think that there is some rectitude in us all being identical, robotic beings, I definitely disagree. It is not our differences that separate us. It is the denial of the beauty and rightness of those differences that separates us.

As I have matured, I have learned that some fights aren’t worth my time. My energy. My truth. Some conversations aren’t worthy of my contribution. I can tell you the truth, but if you aren’t primed to receive the truth, the truth won’t matter. To you. For you. It won’t matter. If it doesn’t matter, why do I care to invest my energy. My time. My truth. I get to control what I invest in. Who I invest in. I determine if it is worth my investment.
