Matt turned, and instead of heading to the basement, he loosened his tie and walked out into the storm.
That’s exactly what I did with a few little exceptions, and yes I know exactly & exceptions aren’t the best hand holders, but I came into the entrance of the building, it wasn’t a church, stayed away from people as much as I could. His casket was open in a little room so you could say goodbye in private, but no one gave me the flipping opportunity people were in and out and I gave up & was pretty peeved off to say the least. I sat through the service, other people talking like they actually knew him, they didn’t, the only one who really knew him was me, the only one who really loved him was me, this was just a big, non religious show. Once that ended I sat outside while Mum got me a lift home, an Aunty took me, once back I proceeded to cry and drink until I fell asleep
