Happiness can be defined as an emotion driven by, or dependent upon, the expectations of external circumstances being fulfilled; and it can come or go, hoping that we will be happy when this or that happens. Conversely, we are often not happy because something that we wanted did not manifest in the way that we expected.

Joy is fuel from the resurrected Jesus, the joyful One, to walk in this world as His representation.

Is that all the joy you want? We have enough Joy from the Spirit.
If we do not believe that joy is something that God wants to give us and actually makes available for us, we may not even know that we should open ourselves to receive it.

We easily make room for love, peace, and patience, and we cultivate kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. But sometimes we leave joy aside as an anomaly, a random force that may or may not blow our way.
