Holy Spirit is the Master Hydrator
reverse the process of depletion?
Staying connected to God and fresh each day is crucial—gathering life, hope, peace, and wisdom for all that we are involved with, and also watching for the subtle or not so subtle diversion of power and joy from our lives.
I believe that it is the Father’s heart that we rediscover fresh joy as the Body of Christ.

metamorphosis and transformation. They move beyond their current form
transformed into apostles
Allowing yourself to live with a mindset of transformational possibility is a key to hope and a key to joy.
He regenerates us, new creation happens, and we begin to manifest His characteristics, desires, and fruit through His Spirit now in us, in accordance with this new nature.
we often find ourselves defeated, because we are restricted in drawing from our own capacity to love,
oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair.
joy
Begin to pray daily for a fresh release of joy from the Holy Spirit.
contagious joy
I cannot entertain any portrayal of God that does not make room for His joy in His dealings with us.
Our enemy is the joy stealer,
joy is an attribute of God, and an attribute found in those who are called to be like Him.
Morning stars sang, and angels shouted for joy.
All worship is a response to who He is.
we
too are called to shout for joy in response to who He is.
It’s expected.
we are called to be only serious.
implies that God is offended at joy and noise, that quietness is more reverent; and therefore by default, shouts of joy must be irreverent.
filled with trips to the Grand Canyon, and it’s sometimes challenging to search for joy in the somewhat mundane and seemingly unremarkable places of our daily routine.
lived from the reality that, if joy is an attribute of my Father’s nature, then I’m going to look for Him and find joy whenever I can? What if we lived with a twenty-four hour radar that scanned and looked for His joy all the time? It would change us. It would change our world.
Joy,
hope, strength, peace, all work in the same way.
You have permission to enjoy God because it’s His desire for you.
full of joy with thy countenance
When we find Him and His ways, joy is right there.
What if Christ-likeness could be measured not only in church-centric activities, which are all important and valid, but also in new expressions of undiscovered joy that are found inherent in the Father, and who He is and wants to be through us in this world?
he will joy over thee with singing
(Zephaniah 3:17 KJV).
abundant life that Jesus promised us is living moment by moment in the reality that God is always more than enough—
“God delights in me.” Try saying it out loud. Try shouting it.
When God greatly delights in us and returns to joy while singing over us, what amazing hope potential this brings onto our horizon.
incredibly fantastical
But sometimes explaining away the supernatural takes more intellectual
The presence and beauty of music, melody, and sound in our everyday lives, and in our world is incredible to me. Music was present in God from the beginning, or we wouldn’t experience it now. Selah.
God not only likes us, but delights greatly in us and is rejoicing, returning to joy over us?
fruit of joy
who are to look like Him in this world.
When the Church stops believing in and receiving the joy-song of God,
where are those who don’t know Him yet supposed to go?
