As Dante says, when we reach this point, we are prepared to climb “unto the stars.”
“The sea I sail has never yet been passed.”
our brains are biologically programmed to move toward awakening.
From a place of enlightenment, the mind’s job isn’t to shore up beliefs, but to let them go.
“The only true statement the mind can make is ‘I do not know.’”
“The function of freedom is to free someone else.”
This isn’t an act of violence, but a natural creative consequence of living your personal truth.
My point is that as you follow the way of integrity, solely to end your own suffering, you will end up helping the whole world.
As you make your one-degree turns toward your own happiness, you’ll stop being part of humanity’s problems and become part of the solution.
Say what you really mean when it feels right, even though others might not approve.
As Larry says, on the path to happiness, our final destination is service.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Every atom in our bodies is replaced every seven years, so not a single atom of the body I have now was present when my children were born. In reality, my body is not a solid thing, but a constantly shifting assortment of molecules swirling around a wisp of consciousness.
“lo gran mar de l’essere,” the “great sea of being.” Absolutely united, perfectly unique, and constantly communicating.
peace is your home. Integrity is the way to it.
When we fully dissolve the lie of being isolated within ourselves, we join Dante and everyone else, everything else. We forget ourselves as small, doomed beings on a threatened planet and remember ourselves as l’amor che move il sole e l’altre stelle, “the love that moves the sun and the other stars.”
