I saw a few photographs on one shelf. There was one of him and Mateo in front of a stone fireplace in what looked like a ranch house. Then another of them much younger, maybe late teens, sandwiched between two men, one looked exactly like an older version of Mateo and a silver fox on the other side. I remember Nico mentioning that he’d grown up with Mateo, his uncle and his grandfather. The last picture squeezed my heart for a different reason.
