Run mad as often as you choose, but do not faint.
I am in the same house as a murderer, Juliet thought, and neither the murderer nor I will be allowed to leave.
“But many things we call rude are only so because it is supposedly wrong to speak of them. Thus we cannot talk about them because we cannot talk about them.
“Do not be ashamed of caring for another creature. Would that the world contained more such feeling, rather than less.”
“Love blinds us more surely than anything else ever can.”
We forgive the faults of those we love so often, so deeply, that we sometimes convince ourselves the faults do not exist. The rest of the world is not so easily persuaded.
