Rocket Science

I made my way to the couch and settled as far as possible away from the other occupant. I did my best to look like this was all a perfectly normal situation but was basically doing a great impression of a statue, “Nervous Girl with a Plate.”

The little minx got out of the carrier and insisted on trying to sit on the steering wheel while I was driving. In the words of my mother, I got “real close to Jesus” on the drive home.

“None of the Disney princesses had to deal with this from their animal friends. They swept their floors and made their beds, not ripped chunks of hair out of their head.”

“Cheese and rice, Harrison, that was super creepy even for you,”

“Sweet velociraptors on Mars, I kissed Sebastian,”
