He shot me a look, his eyes wide and a little watery. “I remember this.” I went to him and cupped his face in my hands. “You remember it.” My voice was a whisper. “Baby, you remember.”
“And you know what?” he said. “It’s unfair to me too. I hate that it was taken away from me. Not just my memories, but who I am. Who I was. Who we were, Dallas. I want memories that mean something. I want memories that I can feel.
